Rev Leah Light
Wedded Your Way was started in 2002, by Rev. Leah Light, the Founding Minister and Director of Circle of Light Ministries, LLC, formerly known as the Universal Light Church, in the Tigard area of SW Portland. Leah's spiritual background was conservative and Christian-based, yet at the same time, eclectic. Her parents practiced a more Jewish lifestyle that adhered closely to the Old Testament in terms of dietary laws and the Saturday Sabbath, yet their beliefs embraced charismatic/Pentecostal elements as well. They were independent, reasoning that no one church could hold all the truth. Thus, they never joined one particular church, but instaed made the rounds, visiting various congregations of their choosing. As a result, Leah was exposed to many different faiths and viewpoints. This background has served her well in practicing tolerance, and bridging the gap among couples and families of differing beliefs, or for those who hold no particular belief. The choice of a nonreligious wedding, if desired, is honored and respected.
Leah completed a Spiritual Studies program with the Center for Healing Arts in Portland and was first ordained by the Church of Inner Light in 1992. Her current ministry includes Reiki healing, intuitive counseling, and performing wedding and other ceremonies.

Rev BJ, Minister/Officiant
Rev. BJ is ordained by the Universal Life Church in Seattle, WA. She has a 30 year background as a counselor, and some of her fondest memories have involved couples contemplating marriage. Becoming a licensed wedding officiant seemed the logical next step for her as well as a lot of fun! BJ will travel to your wedding location throughout Oregon or Washington.
Rev. Laurel, Associate Minister
Rev. Laurel has been a member of and is ordained by Circle of Light Ministries in Portland, where she is Associate Minister. Laurel has an Episcopalian background, having been trained as a Stephen Ministries lay counselor. She entered into the wedding ministry because she wanted to assist couples in declaring their love and commitment to one another. Rev. Laurel holds a Masters degree in teaching and currently teaches in the Beaverton and Hillsboro School Districts. She has a great love for children, having become a teacher in order to make a difference in their lives. She is also the mother of a teen daughter. Laurel is honored to officiate for couples in the greater Portland area.
Rev. Lori, Associate Minister
Rev. Lori is ordained by the Circle of Light Ministries. She has served in youth and music ministries with her home church, First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, and for New Thought Christian churches in this area. Lori holds a Bachelors of Communications degree and is a performer in local community theatre organizations.
As a licensed Massage Therapist, Rev. Lori understands the importance of promoting a congenial, calm energy on your special day. She provides a positive and memorable wedding experience, tailored to your needs.

Lori S., Wedding Officiant
Lori S. is an experienced Wedding Officiant with the Progressive Universal Life Church. She performs civil, spiritual, religious, and interfaith weddings and ceremonies. The basis of a wedding ceremony is celebrating and committing to the joy each person has recognized when falling in love with their intended spouse. Lori finds this so beautiful and infectious. She instills the couple's joy throughout the ceremony, customizing and combining what the couple desires to make a wedding uniquely their own.
Rev. Father Joseph
Since 1978 Rev. Father Joseph has ordinations to the priesthood from two groups: The Ecclesia Gnostica (via its local branch, the Queen of Heaven Gnostic Church); and the Hermetic Fellowship. With a wide range of ideas, Father Joe can provide Catholic style Mass-based wedding services as well as special creatively-designed custom services for your special day--including a nonreligious ceremony, if desired. He also offers funerals/memorials for people and their companion animals; house blessings and spiritual space cleansings. Rev. Joe willingly travels in both Oregon and Washington as part of his services.
Rev. Guadalupe Espinor
We are proud to introduce our Spanish-speaking officiant. Ordained by the Circle of Light Ministries, she has a Christian background, though she will customize a ceremony however you like, religious or not. Lupe is pleased to serve both English and Spanish-speaking couples and has a deep respect for both cultures.
