Repeating Style Vows
I, [Groom/Bride] take you, [Bride/Groom],
to be my lawfully wedded [wife/husband],
to have and to hold,
for better or for worse,
for richer or for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish; from this day forward,
for as long as we both shall live.
This is my solemn vow.
* * *
I will share my joy with you, that it be multiplied.
I will share your pain, that it be divided.
I will walk by your side as we travel together
through life's changes.
I will sleep in your arms
and that love will be my home.
* * *
I take you [Bride/Groom] to be my wedded [Wife/Husband].
I pledge that I will love you and tenderly care for you
in sickness and in health,
when life is peaceful and when it is difficult.
I will honor your goals and your dreams,
and will help you to realize them.
And I vow to share my life with you
through the best and worst of what is to come.
* * *
I give you my promise that from this day forward
you shall not walk alone.
I have no greater gift to give.
May my heart be your shelter
and my arms be your home.
May we walk together through all things.
May you feel deeply loved, for indeed you are.
May you always see the innocence in my eyes.
May we feel this joy forever.
* * *
[Bride/Groom], I love you.
You are my best friend.
Today I give myself to you in marriage.
I promise to encourage and inspire you,
to laugh with you, and to comfort you
in times of sorrow and struggle.
I promise to love you in good times and in bad,
when life seems easy and when it seems hard,
when our love is simple, and when it is an effort.
I promise to cherish you,
and to always hold you in highest regard.
These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life.
